Council is expecting to go unconditional shortly! The Free Evangelical Church might move to the proposed temporary car park site in Cecil Road beside the park. No news on the Townhouse.

The Letting & Anchor Space Conditions need to be satisfied very shortly and due to changing market conditions it is becoming clear of late that Enfield Retail Ltd are having difficulty in reaching these milestones, potentially delaying the commencement on site and hence the completion of the scheme.
Time Scales as at April 2002. The development will start at the beginning of 2003 and open for trade by Autumn 2004.

April 2002: There are a few aspects of the development that may affect these timescales. At the moment, the Free Evangelical Church do not have an alternative site and the Townhouse is opposing demolition.
